Does Preferental operate nationwide?

Yes, absolutely! We are fully digital so you can use our services, no matter where you are in the world.

Please explain how the rental is guaranteed. 

Our rental guarantee provides you with peace of mind by ensuring that you receive your rental income even if a tenant defaults or pays late. Once a tenant is successfully screened and approved through our system, we take on the risk by stepping in to pay the rent on time, every month. This means you won’t have to chase tenants or worry about cash flow interruptions — we manage the recovery process while you continue receiving your rental income, guaranteed.

How does Preferental consolidate the repairs, rent collected and payment of the service to submit documents to SARS during tax return season?

Currently, we provide it through the services, but we are adding that into the platform. We are also able to store all your expenses onto the platform, which will pull through on your SARS expenses.

Can Preferental assist with Inspections?

Yes, we provide landlords with inspection services via our Fixify Partnership (currently only operating in Johannesburg and Cape Town).

What services does Preferental not provide?

We don’t show the property to tenants. Landlords save thousands by showing the property to potential tenants themselves.

How does Preferental deal with multi-let houses, do you charge per tenant?

Our fees are charged per lease agreement per tenant.
